We Are Earthlings: New Year, New Focus
A Happy New Year! How have you been? How was 2023 for you? I have phases to my creativity, so I’ve been concentrating on doing my 333 Flower of Life Mandalas since last June. It’s been a while since I’ve written in this blog, but I’m back because at the end of 2023, I suddenly got the urge to resume writing. Specifically, I want to write about Oneness.
A New Year for Us Earthlings
I don’t know if you can feel it, but we are at the cusp of a new beginning as humans. So many things are happening because we need to fundamentally change our view of the world. I want to analyze what is happening in this world from the perspective of Oneness, so I will be writing a series of posts called “We Are Earthlings”. Honestly it’s a topic that I find extremely difficult to put into words. I’ve been thinking about it a lot, but I don’t know if I can wrap them up in neat little packages that is clear to understand. Sometimes this perspective seems too distant from the emotional world of ours, and it feels robotic and heartless. But if we’re to progress towards a world with true, lasting peace; with love and compassion for everyone, I feel that this journey down the rabbit hole is a necessary one. I’m aware that these writings will not be for everyone. But I hope that the people who need to see it WILL. I trust that the Universe will eventually lead those who will understand it and implement it to this space.
Trust the Universe
This truly is going to be an exercise in trust, because I’m apparently supposed to do these writings as an automatic writing. Believe it or not, I’m actually typing this without looking at the screen right now. It’s an additional idea that came to me at the wee hours of the new year, when I woke up with a hacking cough. This technique forces me to stop worrying about crafting the words, the spelling, the grammar, the SEO. Whatever. I just type what comes to me as quickly as possible, which is the opposite of how I usually write. Of course I will go back and make sure the spelling is correct and all that, but I’m to be an instrument, not the musician. That’s what the Universe seems to be asking of me. So here we go. Let’s see where this new endeavor takes me this year!
