My Favorite YouTube Channels
While reading is still something that I enjoy, YouTube has become a great source of information for me. In fact, I encountered some of my favorite books through YouTube.
For topics such as energy healing, which is still not very mainstream, YouTube is often the only place to find snippets of new information. I also like that we can pick up the energy of the YouTubers. My favorite ones tend to have warm and kind demeanor that helps me feel relaxed while watching.
- 【Official】Japan Reiki Association Yoko Tsuji : This is my go-to Youtuber for reiki info. I probably will be mentioning Yoko Tsuji quite often in my Reiki Study Hall posts. I find her explanations easy to understand but eye opening. Her videos are only in Japanese with occasional English subtitles, though, so I hope I can be of help bringing better understanding of reiki to English-speaking audiences.
- Japan Reiki Association : This is the English language YouTube for the Japan Reiki Association that Yoko belongs to. Nasreen and Satoe are the main speakers, with Yoko popping in for interviews occasionally. This channel is highly recommended for those who are just beginning to have interest in reiki to intermediate students.
- Christina Lopes, DPT, MPH : This channel is for anyone who is on a spiritual awakening journey. For a time, video after video felt like they were exactly the topic that I needed to learn about! If you have an inkling that you may be a HSP, an empath, and/or a lightworker, browse through Christina’s videos. I’m sure you’ll find one that speaks to you!
- Buddhist Society of Western Australia : I really enjoy the talks with Ajahn Brahm because he imparts serious wisdom with silly humor. He’s very approachable and easy to understand, which makes soul growth really fun.
I have several other YouTubers I watch routinely, but since they are in Japanese only. I think I will hold off on mentioning them until I reference them in my posts later. There are still hours of great information packed into the channels mentioned above. I hope you’ll enjoy watching!
